Quality Spectrometer Services Inc. was established in 2004 by David Palovcik. Since then, the company has grown to 4 employees with over 40+ years of combined experience maintaining and servicing Spectro, Bruker and Thermo ARL spectrometers and LECO and Bruker combustion analyzers. Our quality of work, affordable fair pricing, expedited service for repairs, and of course our hundreds of dedicated satisfied customers, has established Quality Spectrometer Services as one of the most reputable spectrometer service companies in the USA.

David Palovcik

President / Field Service Engineer

David Palovcik started servicing spectrometers for Spectro Analytical Instruments in 1992. In 2000, he worked for a spectrometer repair company as Service Manager, where he was factory trained on World Analytical Systems (WAS), currently known as, Oxford optical emission spectrometers.

In 2004, he started Quality Spectrometer Services. In 2005, he was factory trained to service Quantron, now known as, Bruker optical emission spectrometers and has expanded to service Thermo ARL optical emission spectrometers and LECO and Bruker combustion analyzers.

Nathan Ransom

Field Service Engineer

In 2002, Nathan Ransom was hired at another spectrometer repair company by David Palovcik and was quickly promoted to Service Manager in 2004. He was factory trained on WAS, currently known as Oxford optical emission spectrometers, and has expertise on Oxford, Spectro, Bruker and Thermo ARL optical emission spectrometers and LECO and Bruker combustion analyzers. Nathan has been a part of the Quality Spectrometer Services team since 2014.
